2021 Corvallis Turkey Trot

The Corvallis Turkey Trot will take place in person this year for the first time since 2019. The event begins promptly at 7:40 a.m. Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving Day) at Osborne Aquatic Center, and will consist of a 5k run/walk, 10k run/walk, and a “Little Gobblers” 1k run/walk for kids. The 5k and 10k routes will begin and end at Osborne — the 10k does two laps, while the 1k will begin at the finish line and head to the Linus Pauling Middle School track.

COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place at this year’s event. All attendees will be required to wear masks and the runners will be asked to social distance as they compete. Hand sanitizer will also be available and anyone who is experiencing coronavirus symptoms is asked to please stay at home.

There will be a registration fee of $45 for the 10k and 5k, and $18 for the Little Gobblers run. All proceeds will go towards the Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund, which helps low-income families pay for essential programs like swimming lessons. To register, click here

2021 sponsors include Home Instead, Healing Motion Physical Therapy, Acorn Dentistry for Kids, Samaritan Health Services, and more.

If you do not wish to participate in the event but still want to give back, you can submit a donation to the Parks and Recreation Foundation here

Last-minute registration can also be done in person on race day between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at Osborne.
