The Corvallis School District is looking for two members to fill available seats on their Budget Committee.
Members are appointed by the School Board to review the district’s proposed budget, listen to public comment, recommend needed changes, and approve the budget total and tax rates to be forwarded to the Board for adoption.
Applicants must live and be registered to vote in the District, and may not be an officer, agent, or employee of the District. The position is unpaid, non-partisan, and are disconnected from any particular region in the district.
The term lasts for three years, ending June 30, 2024, and those who are interested are expected to submit a resume and letter of interest by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. New members will need to participate in an orientation session, while members with expired terms may request reappointment.
