Election Winners: Malone, Hoyle, Both School Funding Measures

Tuesday saw some interesting results for Benton County and the state of Oregon. Benton County had a turnout rate of 33.01% of eligible voters.

As of 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night, these are the results. These are not yet official.

Benton County Commissioner:

Higgins – 37.6%

Malone – 61.91%

 

Measure 2-136, Renewing Public Schools Tax:

Yes –  70.17%

No –  29.83%

 

Measure 22-190, LBCC Bond Measure:

Yes –  57.87%

No –  42.13%

 

Congressional District 4 – Democrats:

Val Hoyle –  65.8%

Doyle Canning – 14.43%

Sami Al-Abdrabbuh – 6.46%

John S Selker – 5.21%

Andrew Kalloch – 4.93%

G Tommy Smith – 1.46%

Jake Matthews – 0.70%

 

Labor Commissioner:

Christina Stephenson – 48.04%

Cheri Helt – 19.14%

Casey M Kulla – 13.24%

Brent T Barker – 10.39%

 

Governor – Democratic Candidate:

Tina Kotek – 54.77%

Tobias Read – 33.14%

 

Governor – Republican Candidate:

Christine Drazan – 24.01%

Bob Tiernan – 19.29%

Stan Pulliam – 9.77%

Ron Wyden with 89.65%

William E Barlow III – 6.29%
