The Advocate is looking for creative pieces again.
We will be open for submissions for 3 weeks – October 26 through November 20 – with the theme of “Impact!“
What are we looking for? Fictional stories, true stories told with literary flair, poetry, essays about Oregon – Corvallis especially, and art.
So, surprise us. Leave us struck silent with our mouths hanging open. Make us laugh in one paragraph, then cry in the next. Send us art that tells its own story, that we can’t take our eyes off.
While we do ask you to keep things set in Oregon – or at least not in definitely- not-Oregon, this call is not limited to Oregonians. Please pass it around to your writerly folks.
