Carla Jones joined Benton County as quality and analytics manager in April 2019 and was promoted to deputy director of operations for the Benton and Linn Community Health Centers in July 2020. She became the interim director for the Community Health Centers in March 2021. On Thursday, December 9, Benton County announced that the Community Health Centers Board and the Benton County Board of Commissioners have chosen her as director. Before her time with the county, she worked with Samaritan Health Services for 15 years.
The Community Health Centers offer medical, dental, mental health, and addiction services. Each of the CHC’s six primary care sites – Alsea, Benton, East Linn, Lincoln, Monroe, and Sweet Home – are recognized as Patient-Centered Primary Care Homes by the Oregon Health Authority.
Joe Kerby, Benton County administrator, spoke enthusiastically of Jones’ vision and leadership: “I am confident she is the right leader for our Community Health Centers.”
Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oregon State University. She lives in Philomath with her family.
