Employees

Employees with the capacity to work remotely during this time may do so. Those not working should use normal leave reporting processes. Employees designated to perform essential on-site work will report, unless notified by a supervisor. The university encourages employees to use discretion in choosing how and when to safely travel to work as localized road conditions may be variable. If you have questions about how this operational curtailment impacts your work day, consult this resource and connect with your supervisor to determine options surrounding a flexible work arrangement to address this temporary time period. Please note that unlike today, tomorrow has not been declared a paid day off, so standard application of the matrix applies.

Future weather-related updates on OSU operations in Corvallis will be shared on the university alert portal, by calling 541-737-8000, and through notifications via social media, the news media and through the university’s X account.

Please contact your supervisor with specific questions about how the delayed start affects your work schedule.
