Corvallis Farmers Market. Farmer’s Market, 1st & Monroe, Corvallis. 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Corvallis Farmers Market happens Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm, April through November, on First Street in downtown Corvallis. The Farmers Market offers fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and more, all sourced locally from Benton County and the counties immediately surrounding Benton County. Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire. Kings Valley, Grant Road, Kings Valley. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. $10 –  $22. Come be thee blythe and merry at the Shrewsbury Renaissance Faire! Just 15 miles and 500 years away from downtown Corvallis, here enchantment awaits young and old alike as jousting knights and noble steeds clash on the tourney fyld while minstrels, troubadours, jongleurs, dancers and bards fill the lanes with delight. With over 125 artisan stalls and 1,000 costumed players, visitors can browse the village for unique hand made goods and one of a kind treasures while surrounded by Renaissance revelry and entertainment. Farm Tours. Terra Bella Farm, 6959 Northeast Elliott Circle, Corvallis. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. $5 – $12. Experience and explore Terra Bella’s beautiful eleven-acre boutique farm. Meet and interact with Terra Bella’s alpacas, dwarf goats, chickens, and very soon – ducks. Activities include the following: Baby duck swimming lessons, Feed an alpaca, Snip some herbs to take home, Brush the goats, Collect some eggs, Selfies with alpacas, Frolic with the goats & Enjoy their view of the beautiful Willamette Valley. September 9: Tie-Dye Handkerchiefs, Come learn different tie-dye techniques from various cultures around the world!
