GreenGable Farm Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze. GreenGable Farm, 24689 Grange Hall Rd., Philomath. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. $5+. GreenGable Farm offers 200+ pumpkins, gourds, and squashes for an autumn decorators paradise. Grab a provided wagon or a wheel barrel and have fun picking the best pumpkins you can find in the U-Pick Patch. The maze can be muddy This year their Corn Maze will also be a Scavenger Hunt. Purchase $5 tickets at the shop (babies and toddlers are free) search for all the black boxes throughout the maze, use the hole punches to punch your ticket and return to the Shop for a Free Gourd as a Prize! On rainy days or weeks, The maze can be muddy so be sure to bring appropriate boots. On the weekends in October GreenGable Farm will have freshly made Apple Cider Doughnuts for sale. Farm Tours. Terra Bella Farm, 6959 Northeast Elliott Circle, Corvallis. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. $5 – $12. Experience and explore Terra Bella’s beautiful eleven-acre boutique farm. Meet and interact with Terra Bella’s alpacas, dwarf goats, chickens, and very soon – ducks. Activities include the following: Baby duck swimming lessons, Feed an alpaca, Snip some herbs to take home, Brush the goats, Collect some eggs, Selfies with alpacas, Frolic with the goats & Enjoy their view of the beautiful Willamette Valley. Farmer’s Market, 1st & Monroe, Corvallis. 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Corvallis Farmers Market happens Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm, April through November, on First Street in downtown Corvallis. This year’s activities will be open seven days a week 10:00 am – 6:00 p.m. Activities include Pumpkin patch (over 6 acres of pumpkins), Day maze w/trivia (over 4 miles of trail) – $6 (last entry into day maze is 5 p.m.), Super Slide – free, & Hay fort – free. The following activities will be open Friday, Saturday and Sundays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Hayride – $4 pp & Train ride (3 & under can’t ride alone) – $4 pp. The Melon Shack haunted corn maze will open on Friday September 29th – October 28th from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm. This year, the Melon Shack has made a change, the haunted corn maze will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s from 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.  If you are in line by 10 p.m. you will enter the haunted maze! HOTV Runners Fall Festival Run. Riverfront Commemorative Path located near the intersection of 1st St. and Jackson Ave., Corvallis. 7:30 a.m. (Day of Registration and packet pickup), 9 a.m. (5k and 10k start together), & 10:30 a.m. (Kids 1k Fun Run). $20 – $40. The HOTV Runners will host a 5K through Downtown Corvallis & South Corvallis. The HOTV Runners will also host a 10K through Downtown Corvallis to Bruce Starker Arts Park And Natural Area. This family-friendly event presents a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all who want to participate. Come for the run, stay for the Corvallis Fall Festival. Willamette Valley Symphony. Ashbrook Independent School, 4045 SW Research Way, Corvallis. 4 p.m. Free* or $5** – $20. Join the Willamette Valley Symphony for a concert featuring Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9—“The New World Symphony.” This concert kicks off Willamette Valley Symphony’s first full season with their new Artistic Director, Lance Inouye. Other pieces they will perform include a new piece from Oregon composer Zachary Gulaboff-Davis, titled Cascade, Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, and Faure’s Pavane. *Willamette Valley Symphony is excited to bring back the Youth Passport Program, where an adult gets a free ticket if they bring a youth under 18 (who is already free!). **They are also introducing the “Arts for All” program, where people can purchase a $5 ticket if they present their Oregon Trail Card at the door.
