Teal Co-operative Art Gallery. Downtown Corvallis, 328 SW Second Street, Corvallis. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Teal Co-operative Art Gallery has a reputation as the place to shop for hand-crafted, unique, made-in-Oregon gifts. Each year their team of dedicated Oregon artists transform an otherwise vacant and lifeless store front into a world of color, light and beauty, open for business during the months of November and December. On display and for sale are some of the finest works in fiber, leather, pottery, jewelry, glass, metal, wood work, mixed media, paper, and soap that the central Willamette Valley has to offer. A portion of the Gallery’s sales is donated to schools and programs in the community. Family Storytime. Main Meeting Room, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Free. Family Storytime is for children of all ages. Storytime is offered year-round as a drop-in program: first come, first served. Space is limited due to the room capacity and to provide a positive, safe environment for all. Holiday Toy Drive for Cameron Merrill’s Legacy. Block 15 Restaurant & Brewery, 300 SW Jefferson Ave., Corvallis – or – Block 15 Tap Room & Brewery, 3415 SW Deschutes St., Corvallis. 11 a.m. Cameron Merrill passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2013, at the young age of 2 years and 4 months old. In response to this devastating loss, his family established Cameron Merrill’s Legacy to support children with serious illnesses and their families. By gathering toys for these children, they hope to bring joy during very difficult times, while showing their families community support. Block 15 is collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids of all ages between December 4th and 22nd. These gifts will be delivered to Doernbecher and Randall Children’s Hospital’s pediatric ICU in time for the holidays! Pastega Christmas Light Display. Benton County Event Center & Fairgrounds, 110 SW 53rd Street, Corvallis. 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. From 1981, Mario Pastega had Ole create christmas scenes and the place them in the field surrounding the PepsiCola Bottling plant. Scenes and characters were added each year and community members contributed their displays. When Mario passed away in 20 and the firm was sold, it was evident to the Pastegas that they wanted to continue the Christmas display.  Community outreach had individuals or families adopt the weather beaten pieces and return them refurbished to the new home of the display to Benton County fairgrounds on 53rd St.Since the beginning Pastega Christmas display continues to survive and thrive with the help of many volunteers and businesses in our community who have given of their time and talents as well as donations of money and/or materials. Although our display is FREE and non-commercial, the Pastega Christmas Light Display encourages canned food donations for the needy in our local communities. Baroque Brass and Organ Classics. First United Methodist Church, 1165 NW Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. 7 p.m. Free. Enjoy a holiday brass and organ concert performed by trumpeters Joan Paddock, Mark Bacon and organist Craig Hanson. On the program are works from the baroque era by J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, G.F.
