Hemp Impressions: Sustainable Fiber and Fashion Reimagined. Corvallis Museum, 411 SW 2nd St, Corvallis. Wednesday thru Saturday, 10 am – 4:30 pm. Sunday, 12 pm – 4:30 pm. Demonstrating the use of hemp in various applications showcases the beauty and possibilities of this sustainable fiber. Industrial hemp is a versatile and sustainable fiber that has played a crucial role in human history and continues to shape our future. This exhibit explores hemp’s history, uses, and the promising future of this remarkable plant, including its revolutionary impact on the fashion industry. Put a Bird on It! Finley, Feathers, & Fashion. Corvallis Museum, 411 SW Second Street, Corvallis. 10 am – 4:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4:30 pm through October 12. Members free; non-members $5. Utilizing many of the taxidermy birds from the Horner Collection, this exhibit will look at the connections between fashion, feathers, and the conservation work of William L. Finley.
