Generations of Pride: Queer History in Oregon. Corvallis Museum, 411 SW 2nd St, Corvallis.10 am – 4:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4:30. Highlighting the lives of individuals who have lived — and continue to live — authentically and courageously, often in the face of discrimination, violence, and invisibility. The exhibit also spotlights some of the groundbreaking legislation and bold activist movements that have challenged injustice, sparked change, and helped shape a more inclusive Oregon. Explore these 16 windows into how Oregon’s landscape was assembled during the past 150 million years — and to celebrate those who learned to read the landscape before and during Oregon’s first 150 years of statehood. Put a Bird on It! Finley, Feathers, & Fashion. Corvallis Museum, 411 SW 2nd St, Corvallis.                10 am – 4:30 pm Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4:30 pm through October 12. Utilizing many of the taxidermy birds from the Horner Collection, this exhibit will look at the connections between fashion, feathers, and the conservation work of William L. Finley. This exhibit showcases work by Yannie Álvarez, Christina Larsen, and Lisl Tulunay, from their time as Artists in Residence at The Arts Center. Álvarez investigates Mexican-American identity and culture through bold acrylic paintings while Larsen’s sculptural work examines patterns of modern consumption and preservation. Tulunay’s oil paintings explore the in-between moments of daily life lived by ordinary people from Türkiye to Oregon. Available thru August 2nd.
