All-American, Everyone-Can-Join, Fabulous, Fantastic 4th of July Parade. Central Park, 650 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis. 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Free. Join this great Corvallis 4th of July tradition and celebrate our country’s birthday with an old-fashioned parade. The All-American, Everyone-Can-Join, Fabulous, Fantastic 4th of July Parade will assemble on 8th Street between Jefferson Ave. and Monroe Ave. at 9:30 a.m. The Diva sings the Star Spangled Banner at 10 a.m. and then you’re off on the usual route up Monroe Ave. to First Street, turn south along First to Washington Ave., then turn right to Second Street, then left (south) along Second to the Eric Scott McKinley Skate Park where parade disbands. After the Parade, you can enjoy the After the Parade, you can enjoy the Red White & Blue Riverfront Festival beginning downtown at 11 a.m., and stay for the Corvallis Jaycees Fireworks Display at 10 p.m.
Red White & Blue Riverfront Festival. Riverfront Commemorative Park, 1st Street & Jackson Avenue, Corvallis. 11 a.m. Free. Celebrate the nation’s birthday on the downtown banks of the beautiful Willamette River. Bring your family and friends to the Riverfront Commemorative Park on First Street between Van Buren and Monroe Avenues for this fun-filled, family festival featuring live music, a fantastic array of food vendors, S&K Inflatables for the kids, craft booths and much more. This year’s music line up will include West, DRTR, the Incompatibles, Citizens of the Universe, and Sugarbeats. Local food carts and arts and crafts vendors, as well as a beer garden, will be sprinkled around the riverfront for all to enjoy. Be sure to show up early for the All-American, Everyone-Can-Join, Fabulous, Fantastic 4th of July Parade at 10 a.m. and stick around until 10 p.m. for the Corvallis Jaycees Fireworks Display. Southtown Farmstand & Market. 1465 SE Alexander Ave., Corvallis. 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Free. Browse fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as other produce from a variety of vendors every Tuesday evening from May 2, 2023 to Oct. 31, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be vendors selling animal products, vegan desserts, gluten free items, crafts, drinks, jams, pickles, plants, mushrooms, plants and more. Many items are ready to eat. The Corvallis Community Band resumes its summer tradition of Concerts in the Park beginning Tuesday, June 20 and then weekly through the end of August. Concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. These free concerts are themed and offer a variety of music suitable for enjoyment of the entire family. Homerun Derby. Skirvin Park, 502 S 13th Street, Philomath. 6:30 p.m. $10 The Frolic Home Run Derby is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Check-in will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the new PYAC Ballfields on the rodeo grounds. There are three brackets, men’s, women’s, and teens, for the home run competition. There is also a youth farthest hit competition for children 12 and under. $10 registration fee per batter.
