The Corvallis Farmers Market happens Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 9am to 1pm, April through November, on First Street in downtown Corvallis. The Farmers Market offers fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and more, all sourced locally from Benton County and the counties immediately surrounding Benton County. Hilltop Big Band Summer Concert. Central Park, 650 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis. 7:30 p.m. Join the Hilltop Big Band as they present another summer of free concerts featuring the swing sounds of Basie and others. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. This year’s concert dates are: June 21; July 5, 19; and August 2, 16, 30. Concerts are 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Hilltop Big Band has been performing in and around Corvallis, Oregon since 1988. Corvallis Arts Walk. Downtown Corvallis, Corvallis. Visit downtown Corvallis to tour the working studios of our local artists, see them at work, and view their art! The Corvallis Arts Walk (CAW) is a grass-roots organized art walk that takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month in downtown Corvallis from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Galleries, studios, arts and crafts stores and the occasional pop-up keep their doors open late to host an art-related event or demonstration. Corvallis Celtic Festival. Common Fields, 545 SW 3rd St., Corvallis. 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Free. The first annual Corvallis Celtic Festival will be held July 20-23 in Central Park and downtown Corvallis. Kickoff concert will be at Common Fields. This free concert will feature Nathan Wahlgren (Keydet Piper), Fionnghal, The Nettles, raffles, and a roaring good time. Ten percent of all Common Fields sales for the day will support the festival. Music in the Park: Revel’n. City Park, 299 S 23rd St., Philomath. 6 p.m. Music in the Park is a free concert series held at City Park in Philomath. Concerts take place on the 3rd Thursdays and the last Sundays of each month, May through August, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This concert series is fun for the whole family. Bring a chair and relax in the lawn while enjoying a variety of music. There will be free family activities sponsored by the library on May 18, July 20, and Aug. 17. SAGE Summer Concert. Bruce Starker Arts Park & Natural Area, 4485 SW Country Club Dr., Corvallis. 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Join the Corvallis Environmental Center for their annual outdoor summer concert series. Concerts are held at the Starker Arts Park amphitheater from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and admission is free (with a suggested donation of $20/family). Food and beverages will be available for purchase, provided by Pupuseria del Valle, Mud Oven Pizza, First Alternative Co-op, Tyee Winery, Block 15 Brewing, Lumos Winery, and Beaver Classic Food Truck. Live Music at Lumos: Plaehn & Hino Blues Band. Lumos Wine Co., 24000 Cardwell Hill Dr., Philomath. 6 p.m. Free. Join Lumos Wine Co. for live music in the afternoons and evenings during the summer. Local band The Plaehn and Hino Blues Band offers up a danceable repertoire chock full of country blues, R&B, old country, and originals. 2023 marks the 33rd anniversary for Dave and Jeff’s musical journey together.   Joining them will be drummer Brian Bucolo, and Mysterious JG on bass. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair and enjoy some wine, tunes, and Nick Turner and his Soul Food Truck. Cajun shrimp, sausages, grits, collard greens.
