City of Corvallis Goal Development Consultation Meeting. 1 p.m. Public Works Transportation Conference Room, Public Works Offices, 1245 NE 3rd St PO Box 1083, Corvallis. The City of Corvallis, owner of Corvallis Municipal Airport is establishing a new overall goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in its Federally funded Capital Improvement Projects scheduled in federal fiscal years (FY) 2024-2026.  This includes consultation with general contractor groups, community organizations, and other officials or organizations which could be expected to have information concerning the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and assist the Airport’s efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBEs. South Corvallis Food Hub Community Meeting. 6 p.m. Tunison Community Room, 365 SW Tunison, Corvallis. The City of Corvallis and Benton County are moving forward with plans for a food hub in South Corvallis! As part of the strategic planning process, the City will be seeking bids from firms interested in serving as operator of the new food hub concept. The operator will develop and manage the day-to-day activities associated with the food hub, and will serve as the primary point of contact for food providers who might utilize the hub concept.
