There will be two new free clinics for your COVID vaccines coming next week. Benton County and Samaritan Health Services are joining forces with Oregon State University to provide mass vaccination events on Dec. 15 and 16.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that everyone 18 and older receive a booster vaccine six months after having received their original shot or shots. The booster shot you get does not have to be from the same manufacturer as your original vaccines.
Clinics will be held at the OSU Alumni Center located at 725 SW 26th St in Corvallis – across from Reser Stadium. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available while supplies last.
The clinics are open:
Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
No appointments are required to get a booster at this event. However, there is paperwork; and it’s recommended that you fill out that paperwork prior to arriving at the clinic.
And don’t forget to bring your original vaccine card.
