According to Niche.com, out of the top 30 school districts in Oregon, Corvallis ranks fourth, beating out Ashland, Albany, Philomath, Portland and Eugene. The Pittsburgh-based ranking and review site gave Corvallis an overall grade of A-.
The district scored highest in College Preparation with an A, followed by Academics, Teachers and Health and Safety, which were all given an A-. Less impressive were the scores for Diversity and Clubs and Activities, a B+ and B respectively.
Corvallis was only beaten by West Linn-Wilsonville, Riverdale, and Lake Oswego, the only district to earn an overall A+ rating.
