Enrollment Starts for Incoming Corvallis Kindergarten Students

If you have a kiddo that’s going to be age five, it’s kindergarten enrollment time.

According to the Corvallis School District, families of children who will be five years old as of September 15, 2026, are eligible and encouraged to enroll their child in kindergarten. You can do that at their neighborhood school or online.

If you are uncertain about which elementary school is your neighborhood school, you can check any address to see what boundary area it is located in using the District Address Locator or by calling 541-757-5811.

Transfers

Families enrolling a kindergartner can ask for a transfer to a school outside their boundary, but only after enrolling at their boundary area school. Transfer requests will be accepted online for Corvallis residents from March 23 to April 5, 2026, and non-residents from April 17 to May 3, 2026.

Transfers will be subject to grade-level enrollment and space limitations.

Required documents

To complete the enrollment process, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Proof of Address (only one document required)
  • Proof of Age
  • Immunization Record
  • Educational Support Documentation

Kindergarten Information Night

All the District’s elementary schools will offer a kindergarten information night on Tuesday, April 21, from 5:30 to 6:15 pm. During the school information night, school staff will discuss what life as a kindergarten student looks like and answer questions.

For more information about the kindergarten enrollment process, you can contact your boundary area school, the Corvallis School District administration office at 541-766-4700, or refer to the district’s website, www.csd509j.net/kindergarten.
