From Bad to Verse: Conundrum, Clueless, COVID Testing

Conundrum
I admitted to my puzzlement
And made it known to him
With just this simple question
WTF is an acronym?

Clueless
If you are on the cutting edge
And don’t know what to do
I think the observation is
You avant garde a clue

Medicine and Poison

Medicine can make you well

With poison, it’s “adios”

The diff between the two of them?

Simply the dose

COVID Testing

With the COVID virus
We know well
You lose your sense
Of taste and smell

So I’m telling you
And it bears repeating
That I’m not, in fact
Overeating

Rather, you must know
I’m just a dude
Who tests for infection
Using food

Public Health

I was sitting on a train today

Near a man with a mask on his face

He looked all properly dressed I’d say

And very much in place

The steward reminded passengers

That masks were required on the train

The message seemed to bother him

And I heard him loudly complain

The next thing I knew his mask was off

Much to my great alarm

And quickly repositioned there

Halfway up on his arm

At first it bothered me because
‘Twas not what I’d expected
But now he doesn’t worry about
His elbow getting infected
