From Bad to Verse: Frigonometry, Legalitease, Guns

Cause & Effect

Think of this

With your last breath

Living is

The cause of death

Down the Tubes

You’ll grow increasingly fond of the past

Becoming very hard to ignore

If every day you experience

Is worse than the one before

Frigonometry

People are unreliable

They’re here one day, then gone

It’s the reason wise people recognize

Numbers are

all we can count on

Legalitease

When someone breaks the law

People curse

But when the law breaks a person

That’s worse

Guns

Another shooting, nothing’s new

And nothing’s really changed

The “thoughts and prayers” are flowing, true

Our “leaders” are deranged

A Texas school’s the latest one

To bring us such remorse

And God was mad and video games

Were causes, but of course

It’s strange the things the leaders blame

They relish the confusion

And also all the perks that come

With NRA collusion

It’s long past due that we should hug

Our daughters and our sons

And silence politicians smug

Taking money for pushing guns
