Limerick [Untitled]
The miser had a line he would say
Every time there was something to pay
His rather large stash
Of gold, stocks and cash
Was something he earned the hoard way
One Lie-ner
Digital displays are signs of the times
Cycle of Life
O ye looking after those embryo lives
Don’t think that we don’t know what for
You just want to grow up more soldiers
That you can send off for your war
Mr. Jones
(I recently read an obituary and was struck by how they all sound the same. This was my take on a generic one)
Mr. Jones
Has passed away
Having been born
On his birthday
He was preceded in death
By relatives far
And is presumably now
Wherever they are
He was loved by all
Said his obituary
Though accounts of that
Are said to vary
Many relatives succeed him
And at a future date
They all will suffer
The very same fate
In memory of him
A fund has been set up
That he’d truly love
If he could get up
Services are pending
You’ll be pleased to learn
Visitation’s on Monday
He’ll be in an urn
