Garden of Dreams: The Oregon State University Wind Ensemble and Chamber Winds. Free, in person, open to all. Tuesday, February 28 at 7:30 pm,LaSells Stewart Center. The College of Liberal Arts, School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts, Oregon State University Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds and OSU Studio Arts present “Garden of Dreams” a concert featuring works by Sousa, Stravinsky and David Maslanka’s “A Child’s Garden of Dreams.” Conducted by Erik Kar Jun Leung. The performance will also feature artwork by OSU students from the studios of Anna Fidler and Michael Boonstra. A livestream will also be available via YouTube at https://beav.es/SUN 

WEDNESDAY 

Toddler Storytime. Main Meeting Room, 645 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis, OR. 10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Toddler storytime occurs every Wednesday from 10:30 – 11:00 AM and is for children 1-3 years old. Storytime is offered year-round as a drop-in program: first come, first served. Space is limited due to the room capacity and to provide a positive, safe environment for all. Non-Profit & Public Service Fair. 11 am to 3 pm. At the Memorial Union Ballroom. Meet representatives from over 50 nonprofit and local government organizations representing a wide variety of fields who are seeking OSU volunteers, interns, and employees. The 17th annual Non-Profit and Public Service Fair offers the chance to network with people who share your interests and passions and learn more about the many opportunities available in the nonprofit field.  The entire OSU community, including alumni, and general public are encouraged to attend this event. Oregon State Science Pub. Old World Center, 341 SW 2nd St., Corvallis. 6 p.m. Free. Demographic disparities in financial literacy topic of Oregon State Science Pub talk March 1. Financial literacy and how an Oregon State University center seeks to reduce disparities among demographic groups on the topic will be the focus of OSU’s Science Pub event at 6 p.m. March 1. The free event, which can be attended in person at the Old-World Deli in Corvallis or viewed online, will feature a presentation by Prem Mathew, associate dean for undergraduate student development at Oregon State’s College of Business. The presentation is titled “CAFE. Stop by and have a hot cup of financial well-being.” Registration is required to attend Science Pub in person or to view it online.  Sponsors of Science Pub include the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Old World Deli, Oregon State’s Research Office and Oregon State University.
