With more than 30,000 high quality used books at great low prices, the Friends & Foundation of the Corvallis-Benton County Library’s BIG Book Sale is not hyperbole. It’s big-big-big, and it’s this weekend.
In addition to all those books, you’ll find a good selection of audiobooks, CDs and DVDs. Every year time they have this sale there’s something for every reader; fiction and non-fiction for all ages including a hefty selection of children’s titles.
The organizers have it all divided into 50 categories.
Today, Friday, prices are $3-4 for adult books and $1-2 for children’s books. They’re marked down on Saturday, and on Sunday no book will be more than $1 or you can fill up a bag or medium box for just $10.
The organizers want us to let you know you can make purchases withs cash, check, credit or debit card, but they have to pay a 3% fee for those credit transactions – hint. You can also purchase with Venmo.
As always, proceeds go to fund activities and programs at all of Benton County’s library branches; Alsea, Corvallis, Monroe, and Philomath.
The sale takes place at the Benton County Fairgrounds Solar Building, 110 SW 53rd St., in the Solar Building.
