About Pádraig Ó Tuama

Irish poet Pádraig Ó Tuama is host of the Poetry Unbound podcast and staff poet for the podcast and former radio program “On Being With Krista Tippett.” His 2022 book Poetry Unbound is an anthology of modern poems that have appeared on his podcast, which he describes as “an immersive exploration of a single poem.”

About Jennifer Richter

Jennifer Richter’s third poetry collection Dear Future, published in May 2024, won the Tenth Gate Prize for midcareer poets. Her first collection, the national bestseller Threshold, and her second, No Acute Distress, were Oregon Book Award finalists.

A Chicago native, Richter received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a Master of Fine Arts in poetry writing from Penn State. She moved to the West Coast 30 years ago when she was awarded a Wallace Stegner Fellowship and Jones Lectureship in Poetry by Stanford University; for the past 13 years she has taught in Oregon State’s Master of Fine Arts program with her husband, novelist Keith Scribner.
