Oregon Humanities, a group dedicated to connecting, “people and communities through conversation, storytelling, and participatory programs to inspire understanding and collaborative change,” is getting ready to release a new series of workshops.
The new program, called So Much Together, is a new series of workshops set to celebrate the collaborative and creative work happening every day throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. These workshops blend presentation, conversation, and activities to build an understanding of the incredible work being done, and how it shapes both lives and land in the region.
So Much Together is currently creating a new lineup of workshops for Winter and Spring 2022, and are seeking guest presenters whose work connects to the series’ themes of “Climate, beyond, care, or memory.”
If you know a person, organization, or collective that fits the bill – even if it’s you – contact Rozzell at r.medina@oregonhumanities.org.
Workshops vary in content, but they each follow a basic framework.
Guest presenters share their work through a variety of means and invite participants to ask questions, create conversations, and even collaborate on projects. So Much Together is open to the public and free to attend.
These entirely online workshops are created with a key goal in mind – help people understand exactly how collaborative and imaginative work is shaping lives and land in both Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.
