Oregon State University, in collaboration with the Benton County Health Department and Samaritan Health Services, will host an online university and community forum on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic. The forum will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 14. ![]()
The public is invited to attend the forum, which will be held via Zoom, and will feature a panel of university and community experts who will discuss the lifting of mask mandates, steep drops in cases as the omicron surge wanes and what university and community members can do in the weeks and months ahead to help protect public health and rebuild a sense of community.
Expected panelists include:
- Dr. Adam Brady, Infectious Disease Specialist, Samaritan Health Services.
- April Holland, Deputy Director of Public Health, Benton County Health Department.
- Dan Larson, Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Coronavirus Response Coordinator, Oregon State University.
- Chunhuei Chi, Director of the Center for Global Health and Professor of Health Management and Policy, Oregon State University.
- Jenny Haubenreiser, Senior Director of Community Health and Wellness Initiatives, Oregon State University.
