“A Taste of France,” a photography show by Phil Coleman. Phil selected images from trips to France in 2024 and 2025. The primary purpose for each visit was to attend a small intensive French language school near Lyon. For three to four weeks each year, he was fully immersed in the language and the cuisine, twenty-four/seven. Afternoons and weekends were free, allowing him to take trains to interesting nearby towns – or end up in Paris – and take photos along the way. It was a great, if challenging, experience – and his marginal French did improve.
