Connection and community are the vibe this month at The Arts Center – the Main Gallery features a three-day fair where area art groups and guilds take center stage. The reception promises to be a meaningful meet-and-greet – we’re liking this idea. The vibe continues with the annual call to artists for the Howland Community Open too.
Other opportunities for participation include TAC’s Second Saturday Art Day, and a compelling looking Zine Competition for artists inclined toward the genre, and you can include us among that crowd.
Finally, moving to TAC’s Corrine Woodman Gallery, you’ll find Corvallis artist Adeline Hull’s emotive figurative work in a solo exhibition titled Gently Borrowed Nicety.
Here’s all the details…
MAIN GALLERY: Creative Valley: Art Groups & Guilds Info Fair
The Arts Center hopes you’ll to kick off the new year by diving into creativity and connection. The invitation is for Creative Valley. It’s sort of a fair-vibe thing, and the idea is that you can discover new creative opportunities, explore regional guilds, and grow your arts community. To our mind, for the inclined, the big deal here is the reception during CAW on January 16, from 5 to 7 pm.
Hosted by The Arts Center, this event celebrates the strength and creativity of our local arts community. Click here for more information.
