
This month’s offerings at The Arts Center includes a juried Main Gallery exhibit that pulls from established and emerging artists statewide, and a showcase of Artists in Residence in the Corrinne Woodman Gallery and at Pegasus.
These are the group shows everyone loves, and there are great classes and workshops too. But the big reveal this month looks all the way into fall.
The Arts Center is reimagining its annual fundraiser with a bold new event blending art, entertainment, and community for what they have titled SpecTACular: A Monster Ball – we’re guessing fun will be on tap for this one. We’ll keep you posted.

MAIN GALLERY: Around Oregon Biennial
Celebrate the best of Oregon’s contemporary art at the 2025 Around Oregon Biennial Awards Reception. Join the selected artists, this year’s juror, Scott Malbaurn, and community members for an evening honoring exceptional works from across the state. This free event invites art lovers to engage with diverse creative voices, recognize artistic excellence, and connect with Oregon’s vibrant arts community. CORRINE WOODMAN GALLERY with PEGASUS GALLERY: Body, Labor, Land
This group exhibition showcases work by The Arts Center’s 2025 Artists in Residence in two locations, the Corrine Woodman Gallery and Pegasus Frame Studio & Gallery. Through painting and sculpture, Yannie Álvarez, Christina Larsen, and Lisl Tulunay explore themes of identity, preservation, and everyday life across cultures. Each artist brings a distinct voice shaped by observation and personal experience, and together their work offers a rich, evolving look at what it means to make art in community. Summer Arts Adventures, for ages 6 – 18: You’ve seen the buzz—and now’s the time to act! Only a handful of spots remain in TAC’s most popular summer art classes for ages 6–18. Whether it’s Felting a Character, Style Remix, Photos & Light, or Nature Crafts, each class offers hands-on creativity in a fun, supportive studio. Exploring Color with Leah Wilson: Dive into the vibrant world of color in Exploring Color, an engaging workshop designed for adult artists. Participants will study formal color relationships, optical effects, and expressive uses of color while developing a personal color palette that reflects their individual style. Whether you work in paint, fiber, digital media, or another form, the skills gained in this class will enhance your ability to use color with confidence and nuance across many media. Figure Drawing Session: Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned artist, this uninstructed figure drawing session with a nude model provides a great way to sharpen your observational drawing. Bring your own materials and enjoy a mix of short and long poses. Registration is $25/session, and session locations are in partnership with TAC’s community partners. Space is limited. Participants will explore playful watercolor techniques to create expressive portraits using vibrant colors and guided prompts. The Benton Community Foundation joins The Arts Center in partnering to invite Benton County artists to create the physical awards presented to recipients of BCF’s Philanthropic Achievement Awards.
