With fall approaching, The Arts Center delivers a hopeful inquiry into time and place in a shifting world for its Main Gallery this month, and in their Corrine Woodman Gallery, a photo essay that follows an artist’s daughter as she grows up..
On the events side, there’s chunky news-bits: Chromatic Vibes makes a comeback, and the real biggie, the TAC is replacing their usual October gala this year with a fun looking Art Bar Disco Lounge kinda a thing that we think may be worth a try.
Here’s all the details…
MAIN GALLERY: Transformation / Reclamation, Daniela Naomi Molnar and Lee Emma Running
Through sustained inquiry and sensorial collaboration with a continuously shifting world, Place and Time are honored and reimagined in the works of Transformation / Reclamation. With paintings, sculpture, and poetry, artists Daniela Naomi Molnar and Lee Emma Running invite healing through the actions of witness, mourning, and immersion in beauty. The work seeks to shift perspectives from despair to creative possibility, from trauma to wonder, from isolation to purpose. Click here for more information.
