This Thursday’s Corvallis Arts Walk: Crossed Boundaries, Colors, Talks and Poetry

This month’s Corvallis Arts Walk, or CAW, is marked with explorations of boundaries and tropes and colors. Add an artist talk or two, and even a poetry reading, and you’ll see why this is going to be a good evening. But wait, there’s also an after party.

Oh, and we should mention, good weather is in the forecast. Slated, like always, for the third Thursday of the month, this month’s iteration falls on September 18. Most locations are open from 4 to 8 pm. Here’s the full line-up.

This exhibit showcases some of his favorite moments from that unforgettable journey.

Works-In-Progress. Peek behind the curtain at Adrienne Fritze’s Works-In-Progress—unfinished, evolving, alive. Among them unfolds her Borders & Lines project: an act of artistic instigation. Adrienne lays down intricate, hand-drawn borders—part invitation, part dare—and then hands the center to another artist. The twist? Prompts that guide these collaborations come from the public, injecting mischief, surprise, and chance. No one holds full control. The result: unruly works that blur lines between artist and audience. The borders are drawn. Enter as audience or artist, with prompt or mark, to finish what is just begun.
