The third Thursday of the month is upon us, which means a fresh Corvallis Arts Walk, and this being November, there will be artful gift-worthy goods. More programmatically speaking, there is a human and earthliness vibe to much of this month’s walk, and some substantive standouts.
Tips: Don’t skip checking out The Arts Center and the Corvallis Museum. Here’s the full November lineup.
Art in the Valley, 209 SW 2nd Street
Nature’s Tapestry by Vince Zettler. Getting outside and moving through forests and seeking out wildlife, waterfalls, and mountaintops are what inspires Vince Zettler. The quality of light that touches everything is what he strives to bring into his work, whether it is weaving, drawing, painting, or collage in both abstract and non-objective designs. He hopes to capture a moment’s reflection for others to observe.
The Arts Center Corrine Woodman Gallery, 700 SW Madison Ave, Open 4-7 pm
Solastalgia: Reliquaries for the Anthropocene, by Charles F. Pitz. Contemplate what is truly sacred in our world as you view reliquaries, shrines and altarpieces. A special Dark Viewing is scheduled at 7 pm, arrive by 6:45 pm if you are interested in participating.
The Arts Center Main Gallery, 700 SW Madison Ave, Open 4-7 pm
In Unexpected Harmony – John Richey and Niraja Lorenz. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world, this exhibition explores the expressive possibilities of abstraction to embody wholeness and understanding. Reception and Artist Talk at 5:30 – 7 pm. Cristom Vineyards who will be pouring wine during this reception.
The Cooridor Gallery – LBCC Benton Center, 757 Polk Ave
The Green Show. From the deep emerald tones of shaded forests to the timeworn patina of aged copper, this exhibition invites artists to explore green in all its forms— its presence in the natural world, its symbolic ties to energy and transformation, and its emotional resonance in our lives. Show runs until December 10th.
Corvallis Foundry Gallery, 257 SW Madison Ave Suite 210
Bouquet by Jennifer Oakes explores Jennifer Oakes’ childhood memories of her mother’s flower shop. Born just after her mother opened the business, Jennifer grew up surrounded by blooms, especially the bouquets that filled the shop. As a small child, she was captivated by their color and texture; memories that now blur together in this evocative body of work. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Oakes works across painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and welding. She is currently in her fourth year at Oregon State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Corvallis Museum, 411 SW Second
BCHS Native Arts & Crafts Marketplace and 562. The Marketplace features local Native artists and makers, food, refreshments, music and more from 2 – 8 pm. Stop by to meet the artisans and appreciate their beautiful work. This event also coincides with the museum’s upstairs exhibit opening of renown documentary photographer Matika Wilber from 4 – 7 pm. Book signing will occur at 4 pm. Project 562 is a multi-year national photography project dedicated to photographing over 562 federally recognized Tribes, urban Native communities, Tribes fighting for federal recognition and Indigenous role models in what is currently-known-as the United States. The museum has announced that Project 562 will be on view in the Johnson Gallery through July 2026. Matika Wilber will hold an artist talk in the Toomey Lobby of PRAx, at 2 pm, prior to the Corvallis Arts Walk.
Adrienne Fritze Art Studio, 460 SW Madison Ave Suite 12
Remarkable Arts Hallway Gallery hosts Lisa Farlin: Alchemy of Expression. Artist and Writer, Lisa Farlin, presents her sacred art – an exploration of creativity as transformation. Her pieces arise from an intimate inner dialogue, transforming vulnerability and self-discovery into inspired visual expression. The exhibit invites viewers to experience the ways in which art can heal, awaken and illuminate the spirit. In addition, artist Adrienne Fritze has an Open Studio, Empty & Meaningless: Shaping the Light Within exhibit. It’s in the studio gallery. This is a continuation of last month’s exhibit, including the three participation stations, the Writing Desk, Freedom Wall & Whisper Jar. Adrienne is working on new pieces inspired by past submissions through the Writing Desk exhibit and the Freedom Wall. Several in-progress pieces will be on display in the studio.
LBCC Chinook Hall Gallery, 931 NW Reiman Ave
Student Artist in Residence Show. Each year, two advanced art students are selected by the LBCC Visual Arts Department to create a body of work for exhibition in Chinook Hall on the Corvallis Campus. This year’s featured artists are Mika Winder and Daisy Zambano-Gomez. Winder, based in Albany, explores themes of feminism, horror, and surrealism through drawing, painting, digital art, and doll-making. Zambano-Gomez, a Mexican American artist, examines sexuality, femininity, and self-expression, sharing her journey to inspire peace and acceptance in others. The exhibition runs through May 2026.
Living Studios Gallery at Cornerstone Associates, 1445 SE Crystal Lake Dr #101
Marne Lucas: ‘Ouroborosity: From Earthly Snakes to Infinity’. Living Studios welcomes Marne Lucas (she/they), an interdisciplinary artist and end of life doula (EOLD) working at the intersection of art, science, and health, using conceptual overlaps: life’s energy, the body, and mortality, in social practice investigations. Her long-term projects are informed by her community around her. An infrared thermal video pioneer since 1995, Lucas uses heat-sensitive imaging technology to illuminate the fragility of human life cycles. The Bardo Project explores creativity as a form of spiritual care in collaborations with terminally ill artists nationwide to establish their legacy.
New Morning Bakery, 219 SW 2nd Street
Photography by Tim W. Moore. Striking wildlife and landscape photography at New Morning Bakery throughout November. Over the past 15 years, Moore has built an expansive portfolio featuring scenes from the Oregon Coast, the western U.S., Canada, and Alaska. An active member of the Nestucca Valley Artisans (Pacific City) and the Artisans Studio Association (Lincoln City), Tim regularly exhibits his work during the Oceanside Art Show each Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend.

Angels and Abstracts: A Nonlinear Exploration of Existence by Lesley Tonna – a series of mixed media works that have been created using the intuitive method and that explore the infinite nature of life energy and interconnectedness through form, texture, color, as well as archetypal imagery meant to invoke a familiar connection with its viewers.
Pegasus Gallery, 312 SW Madison Ave
Moveable Feast of Arts from November through mid-January. The gallery will be filled with paintings, weaving, collage, photography, prints, ceramics, glass, mosaics, woodwork, wood sculpture, stone sculpture, jewelry, t-shirts, poetry books, greeting cards, and nifty creations of all kinds, ripe for gift giving. The show evolves throughout the holiday months, so pop in periodically to see if what you want is there. Artists showing include Kris Mitchell, Bill Shumway , Mina Ossiander (weaving), Judith Sander , Lynn Radosevich, Grant Cunningham, Charlie Taft, John Ginn, Phil Colman, Greyson Peterson, Toshan Wijeratne, Laurie Childers , Bill Seibler, Cindy Conder, Michelle Greeven and so much more throughout the holiday months.
