If we were to say “When I’m out walking, I strut my stuff and I’m so strung out,” and you think of two drum beats followed quickly by two more, then you just might be a fan of the Violent Femmes.
Whereas, if we were to say “Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess singing” and you finished with drunken lullabies, then you might actually be more into Flogging Molly.
If you thought both, you’re in luck. The Violent Femmes will be playing in Bend and Eugene in mid-October. And Flogging Molly will be opening the shows for them.
If you’re now screaming at the screen, “How can I go!?” then you’re in luck, because not only do we have the details, we also know that, as of Oct. 3, there were still tickets available.
So, you want to go east and see these two amazing bands in Bend? Then you’ll want to free up Friday, Oct. 15, and GPS your way over to the Les Schwab Amphitheater at 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Dr.
If you would rather go south, then find tickets for Sunday, Oct. 17, and make your way to Eugene and the Cuthbert Amphitheater at 2300 Leo Harris Pkwy.
Either way you do it, we’ll tell you about the show later this month. We might even include a few show photos for your viewing pleasure.
