From Bad to Verse: Getting a Buzz, Plaque Markets, No Place to Park a Car

Getting a Buzz

That apiarist working on

The hives is no achiever

He walks away when spacing out

That’s one daydream bee leaver

Limerick (Untitled)

The dental hygienist for pay

Makes bucks in a very strange way

She takes the remains

From tooth scraping pains

And sells on plaque markets they say

No Place to Park a Car

Life in the city is crazy and busy

Scurrying, hurrying, frantic and dizzy

If you live in the city wherever you are

You must ride on a bus to get very far

Because there’s no place to park a car

No place to park a car

There are streets for driving connected to homes

But when you arrive, there are “No Parking” zones

If you go faster by traveling there as a speeder

You’ll find no place with a parking meter

Oh it doesn’t matter where you are

There isn’t a place to park a car

No place to park a car

Cars that are packed with entourages

On arrival discover full garages

And it does no good to go and picket

Because you still will get a parking ticket

Whether you travel near or travel far

There isn’t a place to park a car

No place to park a car

The parking problem I can solve

A self-driving car is what’s involved

It’ll drop me off at work each day

And then it’ll simply drive away

Returning to get me when my day is done

After taking up parking spaces none

And I will be a shining star

Cuz I’ll need no place to park a car

No place to park a car
